Virothera is pleased to announce that Dr Alain Thibault has been appointed to our Board as a Clinical Non-Executive Director. Alain brings clinical expertise in immunotherapy drug development and the regulatory requirements for clinical progression. Previously, Alain was a member of our Scientific Advisory Board.
Alain trained at McGill University in Canada and at the National Cancer Institute in USA. He previously held CMO and other senior medical and scientific roles in the USA and Europe at Argen-X, Regeneron, Johnson & Johnson, and Roche (leading to 4 drug approvals in oncology and autoimmune diseases). More recently Alain worked with TVM Capital where he supported the development of a number of biotech startups including Auricula Biosciences and Recurv Pharma.
Virothera continues to develop its novel immune therapeutic approach to deliver much needed new treatments from infectious disease to solid tumours.
